Healthy Disney snack range

Disney and British children’s food expert, Annabel Karmel, has expanded its line of fun and healthy snacks for children aged 12 months and above.

The new additions to the food range feature Disney favourites such as Mickey Mouse and Winnie the Pooh, which are available nationwide at Asda and Tesco stores with additional retailers coming soon.

The range of sweet and savoury snacks is free from artificial colours, flavours and preservatives and has been specially designed to create wholesome but fun snacks for children aged 12 months plus.

“Healthy eating is so important for children, and I’m pleased to announce this extension of products to the Disney range,” commented Annabel Karmel. “The new snacks prove that healthier eating for kids can also be fun, and I have a feeling that the delicious, 100% natural flavours will mean that parents will be just as keen to enjoy these snacks as their children!”

Marianthi O’Dwyer, head of consumer products for The Walt Disney Company UK added: “The new snacks nicely complement the existing range we have created with Annabel and we hope that the much-loved Disney characters will continue to encourage children to enjoy eating tasty, healthier snack foods.”

All products comply with The Walt Disney Company's strict nutritional guidelines, which were introduced as part of the company’s commitment to developing healthier foods for children. The guidelines control calories, fat, saturated fat, sodium and sugar, and eliminate trans fats altogether.
