Mike the Knight gets publishing rights
HIT Entertainment and Simon & Schuster have agreed head of terms on a publishing agreement for new pre-school series, Mike the Knight.
Under the five year agreement, Simon & Schuster is set to obtain the rights to publish books, in all categories apart from annuals, based on the new CGI animated series.
Set in a magical medieval age Mike the Knight is due to premiere on TV screens around the world from this autumn.
This will be first time that HIT Entertainment will be working with Simon & Schuster UK. The group is based in London with sister companies in Australia, India, Canada and the United States.

Co-produced with Corus Entertainment’s Nelvana Studio Mike the Knight is a new 52 x 12’ CGI series set to transport viewers back in time to a magical medieval age. Mike is a 10-year old boy with a big future ahead of him.
