Rubie’s Australia acquires Deerfield

Rubie’s Masquerade Co Australia Pty Ltd has announced the acquisition of costume specialist Deerfield Pty Ltd.

The deal brings together Australia’s dress-up experts and combines the talents and strengths of two successful companies.

Rubie’s Australia director, Chris Isitt, commented: “I am delighted and proud to welcome everyone involved with Deerfield into the Rubie’s family. Deerfield is a company with a fantastic reputation built up over many years through quality and service. We look forward to combining this with Rubie’s worldwide expertise and resources to develop both the product line and distribution base in a market with fantastic potential.”

The new company, Rubie’s Deerfield Pty Ltd, will be headed up by CEO Peter Warton and will incorporate both the existing Deerfield team and the current Rubie’s structure, as managed by Tony Bugg.
