Shine Group appoints Ozen Kazim
Shine Group has appointed former Walker Books, Rocket Licensing and Target Entertainment executive Ozen Kazim to the position of international licensing manager.
Kazim will report to Shine Group’s recently appointed global brand manager, Lori Heiss who joined in January with responsibility for the ongoing extension and exploitation strategy for international Shine Group brands.
In her new role, Kazim’s responsibilities will include the creation of strategic brand plans and guidelines, negotiating new licensing deals across territories, identifying partners for new categories and those requiring new licensees.
Most recently Kazim held the position of licensing manager across Walker Books, one of the UK’s leading children’s publishers and Rocket Licensing, an agency whose clients include DreamWorks’ Puss in Boots movie, Atari, Dangerous Books for Boys and Hornby’s Scalextric.
Global brand manager, Lori Heiss commented: “I’m thrilled that Ozen is joining Shine at this time. We have key programmes like MasterChef enjoying success all over the world, which we are now in a position to build on yet further.”
