Addison signs OiOi baby bag brand
Licensing consultants, Karen Addison Associates has signed a global licensing agreement for baby and nursery brand, OiOi with immediate effect.
OiOi baby bags have been a style accessory for mums for over a decade. Lisa Bennetts, founder of OiOi Bags, takes her inspiration for each collection directly from the catwalks, resulting in trend-led bags that will be used long after nappies are no longer needed.
“I have known the OiOi brand since it first came to market over 10 years ago," says Karen Addison. "It is truly one of the most distinctive baby and nursery brands in the market and I am looking forward to developing the wonderful designs and styles into ranges of contemporary and complimentary licensed nursery products.”
Lisa Bennetts feels that the time is now right to licence the brand out saying: “I am receiving an increasing number of approaches from manufacturers wishing to use my designs on their product and I know, working with Karen, that OiOi is in the best possible hands to help take the brand to the next level.”
Karen will be working with ex-colleague Keith Pashley of The Keith Pashley Project to help develop a long-term licensing approach to the brand and recently attended Harrogate Nursery Show to meet potential licensees and licensing partners. “I was delighted with the initial reaction. People are instantly recognising what a significant opportunity the OiOi brand represents at retail," commented Karen.
