Everything's Rosie adds to Spanish success!

Everything's Rosie adds two new licensees to its fast growing licensing programme

V&S Entertainment Ltd – producer of hugely popular pre-school animation Everything’s Rosie – has announced that two new licensees have joined the brand’s fast growing Spanish licensing programme. Spanish publishing giant Random House Mondadori is set to launch a wide range of Everything’s Rosie books, whilst DIVISA RED is on board for DVDs.

Everything’s Rosie has been broadcast on RTVE’s CLAN TV since March 2011 with phenomenal ratings and a peak audience share of 64% in the 4-6 age group.  Rosie has proved a big hit with viewers and RTVE recently acquired Series 2.

Random House will be launching a wide range of titles also based on the show’s Spanish title, Todo Es Rosie, including storybooks, educational activity books, novelty books and e-books.  The deals will see DIVISA RED launching the first two series on DVD across Spain, with Series One available later this year.

"The positive values that Everything's Rosie teaches, such as a sense of adventure and team spirit, has encouraged us to develop an extensive publishing programme, which we will be launching in March 2012. All the titles will keep the educational message of the series, which stimulates children's imagination and social skills," comments Juan Díaz, Children and Young Adult Publisher, Random House Mondadori.

These new agreements add to a rapidly expanding Spanish licensing programme, with partners including IMC, Safta, Stor, Astro and CYP Imports. A toy line from Vivid has launched there this month, distributed by Giochi Preziosi Spain and will be backed by a major marketing campaign. V&S Entertainment is also commencing M&L programmes in Portugal, France and Italy.

“Everything’s Rosie is proving to be incredibly popular with Spanish pre-school audiences and these new agreements add to the brand’s considerable reach within the Spanish market,” says Julie Quirke,  Director of Licensing for V&S Entertainment, “the property is being enthusiastically embraced by leading licensees in Spain and we are due to release news of further activity shortly.”
