Guiness World Records set the party challenge

Guinness World Records, the global authority on record-breaking, announces the launch of its 2011 range of party challenge sets created by Paladone

The new party range is available in-store now and complements the latest edition of the record-breaking bible, the Guinness World Records 2012 edition, which is currently at number two in the Overall UK Top 50 Book Chart.

The new Guinness World Records collection has been created to extend the appeal and age range of the brand’s products, and to deliver fun and entertainment at any party whether with friends, family or colleagues.

New for the 2011 range are the Party Challenge, Balloon Challenge, Ping Pong Challenge, Origami Challenge and Trivia Challenge. Included in the products is a genuine record challenge which enables players to earn their place in the world-renowned record books. All the items needed for each challenge are either included in the set or involve everyday household articles. Full instructions and record-breaking trivia are also included.

Guinness World Records has also extended its retailer base with Sainsbury’s, Boots, Primark, Homebase, Easons, Cargo and Lakeland all taking the range for 2011.

Commenting on the new range, Frank Chambers, VP of publishing at Guinness World Records, said: “Following the success of last year’s dedicated kids range we are pleased to return with more products and more retailers, both of which will enable us to meet the global demand for Guinness World Records.”

Fiona Parkinson, marketing manager at Paladone, adds: “This year, Guinness World Records products are all designed to get people playing along, whether it’s on Christmas day with the family or out at your annual work party.  Simple and addictive, these party challenges deliver fun, entertainment and excitement and are a great yet inexpensive way to get your party started.”
