Mike the Knight becomes Cbeebies' no.1!
TV viewing figures reveal the kids series has become a children's favourite in just one week!
Mike The Knight has had an impressive first week on
CBeebies which was the most watched show amongst housewives with
children aged 0-3 as well as 4-6 year-olds.
The show outperformed its 4.05pm timeslot, with ratings for HWCH 0-3 up
89% when comparing year-on-year figures and 82% higher week-on-week.
Ratings for children aged 4-6 were also up, this time by 21% when
comparing the same the time slot year-on-year and by 24% week-on-week.
Alison Homewood, EVP Programming Distribution at HIT Entertainment said:
“We have always had high hopes for Mike the Knight and are thrilled
that CBeebies viewers have taken him to their hearts so quickly. Mike
the Knight has had a spectacular start and these triumphant ratings put
us in a fantastic position for the continued success of the show and for
the licensing roll out next year."
