Director Michael Bay transforms his mind about new Transformers movie

Bay insists he will not direct the follow-ups  in the franchise

Michael Bay has confirmed he will not be at the helm of Transformers 4 or 5 for Hasbro Studios.

"I am currently not talking to Paramount on T4 and T5 despite reports," he said. "I'm looking at a lot of possibilities coming my way right now weighing options. Most likely going to be doing the low budget Pain and Gain, a true story crime thriller. It's a very quick shoot and quite funny. Also just finishing the 3 disc set of the Transformer trilogy."

The movies have been among the most successful franchises ever and Hasbro are keen to continue building on the success of them and of course the consumer products lines.
