Fabulous Footwear Collection Lined Up For Everything’s Rosie!
A brand new range of footwear for smash-hit pre-school brand Everything’s Rosie is set to hit the shelves next year
The new agreement with V&S Entertainment will see Brand
International Group producing a wide variety of colourful footwear that
is guaranteed to appeal to fans of the series; the range will include
slippers, wellington boots, trainers, fashion shoes and summer footwear
including clogs and sandals. The products are currently in development
and retail buyers have already committed to a launch set for spring next
year.
This new category deal adds to an outstanding licensing
programme for the brand and comes hot on the heels of a deal with VMC
Accessories that will see the production of Rosie-branded dress up and
accessories. Over 25 other licensees are on board, including Vivid Toy
Group, Egmont, NBC Universal, Blues Clothing, Roy Lowe & Sons, TDP
Aykroyds, Vogue International, Worlds Apart, Zap and Zeon; categories
include toys, DVDs, board games and puzzles, apparel, bedding,
lunchware, bags and publishing.
The brand is also making an
impact in Europe after being snapped up for broadcast by RTVE - Spain,
France Television - France, Canal Panda - Portugal and RAI YOYO - Italy.
In Spain, Rosie has recorded particularly impressive viewing figures
and a licensing programme is now being rolled out, with partners
including IMC, Safta, Stor, Astro and CYP Imports. The Vivid toy line
launched there this month, distributed by Giochi Preziosi Spain, and
will be backed by a major marketing campaign. V&S Entertainment is
also commencing M&L programmes in Portugal, France and Italy.

Everything’s
Rosie is a HD CGI pre-school animation, aimed at girls and boys aged 3
to 6. Rosie, has been broadcast on CBeebies since May 2010 and is one
of the channel’s top rated shows. This vibrant and wonderfully upbeat
series centres on Rosie, a little girl with a taste for adventure, and a
cast of equally lovable characters such as Bluebird, Will, Holly, Big
Bear, Oakley the ancient oak tree and Raggles the rabbit. Rosie and her
friends are positive, bright and inspiring role models - offering fun,
laughter, discovery and timeless life lessons to pre-schoolers. A third
series of the show is currently in production and will air in 2012.
