HillyBilly joins with Putnam
HillBilly Brand, Inc. has announced a new licence agreement with Putnam Accessory Group
The deal will grant Putnam Accessory Group the rights to market a line of HillBilly Brand hats, caps, belts, wallets, bags, and purses throughout the world.
Building on the strong following for the HillBilly Brand at live events across the continent as well as the tremendous exposure generated for the brand through multiple airings on the popular ABC television show “Shark Tank”, Putnam plans on marketing the brand through mass and specialty retailers, as well as through catalogers and e-commerce retailers. They plan on offering a complete headwear and accessories line for men, women, and children.
Shon Lees, CEO and co-founder of HillBilly Brand comments: “We see Putnam operating in tandem with our cornerstone apparel licensee, Mad Engine, to deliver a line of headwear and related items that fully deliver the 'HillBilly Lifestyle' to our consumers. By offering the products wherever the consumer shops for soft goods, we’ll be able to touch the HillBilly that’s inside of everyone.”
Mike Abbaticchio, President and also co-founder of HillBilly Brand, adds: “HillBilly isn’t about how much money you make or where you live. It’s about that little bit of country inside us all that makes us smile”. Shon Lees continued, stating “Mike and I will be actively involved in the design of the headwear. This relationship combines our love for the HillBilly lifestyle with Putnam’s proven track record in designing the coolest caps and accessory items. We will bring to market products that today’s HillBilly will be proud to wear. It represents their lifestyle, the country lifestyle.”
