Coolabi suffers pre-tax profits

Operating losses rose and revenues fell

Pre-tax losses at Coolabi rose to £604,720 in the six months of 2011.

Operating losses rose to £568,183 from £341,718 and revenues fell to £605,514 from £961,670, for the company that counts Scarlett & Crimson and Purple Ronnie among its properties

Chairman William Harris, says: "As in 2010, we expect the results to be heavily weighted towards the second half.

"There is still much to do in order to realise management's expectations for the full year, particularly in the light of current trading conditions.

"Successful attendance at important trade fairs over the next couple of months will be crucial to their achievement."
