Hasbro goes Latino

The Adventures of Chuck and My Little Pony expand into Latin America

Hasbro is teaming up with Discovery Kids to distribute The Adventures of Chuck and Friends and My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic in Mexico, Brazil, Peru, Chile, Columbia and Uruguay.

This is the company's first foray with these brands into Latin America. Hasbro has also signed with Cartoon Network to launch Transformers Prime in
Latin America.

The announcement comes at an ideal time for Hasbro - just weeks before MIPCOM and is part of an international strategy overhaul par of which was the hiring of Nina Scales who was brought in to boost the action in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
