Top Hollywood director takes on Monopoly film

British-director Ridley Scott has signed up to the Hasbro movie deal to bring the board game to the big screen.

Produce Frank Beddor says: " I created a comedic, lovable loser who lives in Manhattan and works at a real estate company and he's not very good at his job but he's great at playing Monopoly."

No word yet on who will be playing the lad.
